About Woodlawn Pointe
Woodlawn Pointe Center for Community is a welcoming spiritual and community hub in San Antonio committed to inclusivity, creativity, and support. At Woodlawn Pointe, people of all backgrounds come together to connect, grow, and make a positive impact. Our campus features 24,000 sq. ft. of multi-purpose space, including a 400-seat auditorium, banquet hall, meeting rooms, and offices – all offered for nonprofits and community groups. Every day, our center is alive with gatherings, support groups, arts programs, and public events that enrich our community.

Woodlawn Pointe Center for Community is a social justice work of New Living Spiritual Center - a thought based spiritual community whose core belief is, "the way you treat others is the fullest expression of your faith."
New Living Spiritual Center started out as River City Church in 1984, uniting in response to the backlash against LGBTQ people during the AIDS epidemic. As traditional Christian churches ousted and barred LGBTQ community members from their congregations, River City Church created a safe haven for practicing their faith.
After more than three decades, New Living continues this legacy, shifting the way a church can build community. By facilitating Woodlawn Pointe Center for Community, New Living aims to empower individuals seeking to improve the greater San Antonio area.
