No one in our community should go hungry or struggle alone. That’s why Woodlawn Pointe is proud to host a Community Food Pantry and Clothes Closet as part of our outreach mission. In partnership with local nonprofits, our Food Pantry provides essential groceries and basic necessities to individuals and families in need free of charge. We believe that feeding the hungry and extending kindness is a fundamental way to build a stronger community.
San Antonio Food Pantry
Our Food Pantry’s mission is to fight hunger and food insecurity in the San Antonio community, especially among vulnerable groups. We primarily stock non-perishable food items, canned goods, dry pantry staples, and personal care items. Community members can visit the pantry and receive a supply of groceries to help get them through the week. We operate with dignity and respect. Clients are welcomed with a smile, no questions asked, and can “shop” for the items they need. In addition to food, we maintain a small Clothes Closet offering free clothing and shoes (when available) for those in need. If you or someone you know is in need of food assistance, please know you are welcome here. Contact us to make an appointment. We’re here to help.

How You Can Help
Donate:
The Food Pantry runs entirely on community support. We accept donations of non-perishable food (canned vegetables, soups, pasta, rice, cereal, etc.) and personal hygiene items. We also accept gently-used clothing for all ages to stock the Clothes Closet. Every item donated goes directly to someone in need in our neighborhood. You can drop off donations at Woodlawn Pointe during our office hours or contact us to arrange a convenient drop-off time. Financial contributions are also a huge help. Together, we can feed hope and nourish our community.
Need Assistance?
If you’re struggling to put food on the table, Woodlawn Pointe’s Food Pantry is here for you. To receive assistance, simply fill out the form below to set up a private pick-up. There is no lengthy qualification process, we operate on an honor system, trusting that those who ask for help truly need it. Our volunteers will help you gather a bag of groceries and supplies. We can also provide information on other local resources if you need additional support. Everything is completely confidential. Our goal is to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry or feels forgotten.
For more information on pantry hours, contributions, or partnerships (we love working with organizations, schools, and scout troops on food drives!), please contact us anytime. Thank you for helping make sure all our neighbors are cared for.
